New site, will I get a decent price on Flippa?

I have been building Clipper Sisters for some 3 weeks, I just keep adding things to it.

I built it because I wanted to do a coupon site, but if I could flip it, for decent money, I would likely do it.

My guess is, it needs the right buyer, someone who wants into the coupon/affiliate business, but just not the know how, this site would give them instant professional looking site.

I pushed one offer over several days and got $17.00, with around 15k emails and limited wall posting on FB, so that is all it has done. During that time it got over 300 visits one day, the others around it were 250's, now it is back down to 150's.

I have done zero backlinking, since there is not really enough hours in the day and I keep messing with other things besides the site.

I see junk sites do OK on Flippa, looks wise, this one is way better, but they had monthly income coming in.

So, will it get closer to the $5,000 I would want, or $1,000 which I would decline, or not meet my reserve.

$200-400 IMO. Won't get anywhere near $5k unless there's something substantial I'm missing here.

I have no idea which is why I ask those that have dealt with Flippa and selling sites, I have seen threads on here where members said people expect too much for sites, I may be one of them. I think the difference is, I am not really looking to flip for some huge profits, I am just trying to build a business, but if I could get out of it, make less now, but do OK, then I would sell it, otherwise I have to baby it for a year or spend $5k to get traffic faster, otherwise it will be a trickle and the only thing I might offer that others dont, well, the display of store items most coupon/code sites dont offer, is design, but sometimes simple is better. I do think the site might be getting too many items on it, if it does, then it gets cluttered, items get lost because it is just too much to see.

Alexa numbers for the site are not bad, for a month old site. I dont do any scripts to raise my numbers on Alexa, though I do have it installed which helps a lot.

TheCouponPlaza.com, would I be better off using it? Clipper Sisters is just a catchy name.

Yeah I think you're expecting way too much for the site. Not to say it can't sell for that much in the future, but seeing as it's only 3 weeks old and has made only $17, I can't see it selling for anywhere close to 5k.

I suggest continuing to build it up and increase the traffic/revenue for the next few months. Once you get it more established and earning good money consistently, then you can flip it.

I wouldn't change the domain name either. "The Coupon Plaza" sounds kinda dull whereas Clipper Sisters is catchy and I think people will remember it much easier. Just my opinion though.
