New site trends ideas

Hey friends
I want to create a site for my country related to a new trend that is working good on another countries. All i want is your ideas/ opinions . Forget about a fiverr site, sites like ebay, pinterest, freelancer, yahoo answers, craiglist, wikipedia. I need few good ideas that can become a big trend here.

P.S for mods : If i posted in a wrong category please move the thread. Thanks

I assume some kind of social network for self-development will be a trend... If you get what I mean. Anyway it still has to be social at least to become big enough

My 2 cents: buy a good localized domain, not a general .com. If in Spain, buy .ES, if in UK buy .co.uk.

Then install a decent CMS and produce some content just to give it some local domain weight. And then proceed with your original plan, while dripping one or two content posts per day, while still developing your main idea on that domain. HTH
