New site pages not indexing properly, what am I doing wrong?

Hi guys,

I just started a new website and I’m having an issue with indexing. Some pages take too long to get indexed and some are not getting indexed at all.
I already submitted sitemap and checked robots.txt, everything looks fine from my side.
Not sure if this is normal for new sites or if I’m missing something basic.
Any help or suggestions would really help me out.

I think happens a lot with new sites, just keep posting content, add internal links, and give it some time, indexing usually improves slowly.
 

Use Search Console to see what’s happening​

For a brand‑new site it’s pretty normal for some pages to index slowly or not at all at first, but there are a few checks and tweaks that can speed things up and catch real problems.

maybe its Thin or low‑value content: Very short, near‑duplicate, or low‑quality pages often get “Crawled – not indexed.”
 
This is pretty normal for new websites-Google takes time to discover and trust fresh domains. Make sure your pages have internal links, since orphan pages often don’t get indexed. Try using Google Search Console’s URL inspection tool to request indexing and check for "crawled but not indexed" issues. Also focus on publishing unique, quality content and getting a few backlinks to speed things up.
 
That's normal for new domains, Google is just not prioritizing you yet. Make sure you aren't leaving orphan pages without internal links and continue tracking GSC.

Totally normal for new sites Google takes time to trust them.
Focus on internal linking a few quality backlinks and consistent updates indexing will improve.

Normal for new sites—no authority yet. Speed it up with strong internal linking, a few quality backlinks, and consistent updates. Also use GSC request indexing. If pages are thin or similar, Google may just skip them.

Your website is still new, so focus on content. After a certain period of consistent updates, your content will be indexed more regularly.
 
This is normal for a new site Google takes time to build trust and pages index faster once you improve content quality, internal linking and get some backlinks.
 
did you check how long it's been since you submitted the sitemap to see if that's a normal timeframe for indexing to happen?

For a new site, this is normal - indexing can be slow.
Usually, it’s due to a lack of “signals”: backlinks and internal linking.
If everything is set up correctly, it just takes time.
