ok guys - got a new site live, got 6 articles at 2-2.5K words each with images etc.

I haven't indexed the site, yet and no GA.

When can I start building links and how many should I start with? My niche isn't so competitive, but i'd like to get a bunch of natural links (branded / natural anchors) going asap.

What would you advise?

Hi, you can contact sites having same niche as your site and to have high Alexa rank. You ask them to give you link and you can pay for this. It is a good investment and your website will rocket up.

First You need to create and submit the XML sitemap of your site then start making the quality backlink on the higher page rank site which belongs to your category and also you can take help of other tools for checking the indexed status if you have not GA. For more info visit here:-

share you articles on reddit, create your own subreddits, comment on niche relevant blogs and forums. And start it right away, it's completly normal if a new site is shared here and there.
