New Site Crawled but Not Indexed – What’s Causing the Delay?

Hi everyone,

I recently launched a brand new site on a fresh domain, moving away from my old one because I wasn’t satisfied with the SEO setup.

This time, I focused heavily on proper on-page SEO:

• Solid internal linking
• Unique, high-quality content
• Clean structure
• No noindex issues (everything is set correctly)

I submitted my sitemap to GSC and it has been fully crawled. I also used IndexMeNow on April 17 to help with faster indexing.
However, only the homepage, contact page, and privacy policy have been indexed so far. The rest of the pages still show “Crawled – currently not indexed” in GSC.
What’s strange is that another site I launched on an expired domain (even after this one) got indexed way faster.
I’m wondering:

• Is this a common delay with brand new domains?
• Could submitting to IndexMeNow too early have triggered a soft filter?
• What else can I do to speed up indexing, or do I just need to wait?

Hi, thanks for your reply!

1. Internal links are already in place and properly structured.
2. I’ve already acquired some quality guest post backlinks from authoritative sources.
3. I haven’t shared any links on Twitter or LinkedIn.

The strange part is that another site I launched on an expired domain (even later than this one) and a fresh domain created around the same time both got indexed way faster than this one.
There doesn’t seem to be any technical issue with the website.
The only major difference I can think of is that I used SpeedyIndex first right after the site was launched, and then submitted it to IndexMeNow afterward.
Could that sequence of using indexing services too early have triggered some kind of delay or soft filter?
