New often just means buggy.
Links are links. Old established links are normally better than new ones.
Established link building tools are the ones that evolve, improve and add features. Nuke, UD and MS are thye best 1st tier/content toosl for a reason. Likewise Xrumer and GSA are the best tiered tools for a reason.
Long term developer support, constant updates and a growing feature set.
Brand new tools from new developers?
I could list 50 just from the past 24 months that came - were revered as "the bust" or "the golden bullet"... then promtly disappeared and stopped working. Many of them costs hundreds of dollars. Remember all those WIKI tools last year? Where are they now? Incansoft? Ksoft? Dummysoft? BookmarkWiz? Tweetadder Pro? Scrapeboard? VideoX? Xrumer Lite? Who knows how many article only tools... and so many more. No idea where most of these are now - gone? not working very well?.... along with the cash of the SEO pro's who bought them.
That doesn't mean all new tools are crap or won't last, but there is nothing wrong with going established.
Developers that have been around for 4 or 5 years.. or more... have done so for a reason. They work
