It seems when someone posts in so many "hire a freelancer" threads that it would raise an eyebrow. I am no expert, but I didn't think one person would be so good at everything in IM. I would think there would be a limitation on posting in so many different threads at once to prevent people from getting taken advantage of. Attached a screenshot.

This isn't about a "Newbie" making a new thread though, it is about a new user posting in every thread just looking for somebody that will fall for their trap and make away with a few dollars. I don't think their should be a limitation on the forum, but I do feel that there should be some limitations on forum posting, especially in the hire a freelancer section.

Wouldn't that make it harder to spot the con man?

Perhaps the Hire A Freelancer section should be Jr. VIP only?

This would instantly send me away and last i checked I haven't scammed anyone. Not to mention people looking for mass work would need to look elsewhere because there are only so many jr vips that actively do the work....

When someone posts in 15 threads in twenty minutes in the same section then I feel that would be enough evidence to prove that a con may be in the mitts, but I guess all actions can't be warranted per say without sufficent evidence.

I always do my due deligence before I hire someone to do work for me, but you never know until you see the end results of their work. This goes for anything in business, you really never know how professional someone is until they finish the work. The majority of the scams on BHW happen in the journey( has limitations now) and hire a freelancer sections so I feel that a Mod should make an exception and add a rule for this type of forum posting in the hire a freelancer section.

Ok, newbie and new member it's not the same...but new members every day posting new threads, trying to scam, asking same questions all the time, they are so lazy they can't use the search bar... For example, every day at least one post is: "what is the best method to make money"... I think you know what I mean

No, not everyone can afford to pay 100 dollars just to hire someone for a 20 minute job that costs 10 dollars.

Sorry, I posted while distracted. What I meant was, perhaps the Hire A
Freelancer section should be Jr. VIP only for freelancers - not people who
are looking to get work done.

Unless I am reading what you wrote incorrectly, it seems there is already a section for freelancers to provide their services, which is the marketplace, and people can already purchase services on there. I don't feel that BHW needs a section to have an active bid on a job (there are plenty of authority sites that do that already) and would take away from the marketplace which is provided here. The mods already do a good job maintaining services within the marketplace, even though I feel that each service should be rechecked once a year to see if they feel that the service is still up to par as when it was first released.

If I still didn't comprehend correctly on what you were saying, you can try again.

Right, to offer your services on the marketplace, you have to be a Jr. VIP
and you have to pay a listing fee and obtain approval from the moderators.

What I mean is that everyone would be allowed to advertise a project on
the Hire A Freelancer section, but only Jr. VIP freelancers could reply.

Sorry, it's four am here. :)

EDIT: I agree btw that the services on the marketplace should be reviewed
once per year, if they aren't already.

I noticed similar activities on 3 dupe accs in a row and reported it with a link to old banned accs and matching Skype handles but no actions taken yet.

It is Sunday so hopefully mods will take some action Monday morning.
