New Rules, mean people will get banned???

So

With the new YT rule on them being able to put adverts onto channels that are NOT monetised

And with creators not knowing which videos will get ads, or when...

Will that make it scary to practice any black hat methods?

As all the panels say once monetised - don't monetise the videos you used to get view times [and delete them once you have other videos up]

But also all the other rules - if someone looks at their own video - and it has an ad on it - are they now in breach, and won't be allowed an AdSense account?

Any other issues [for black hat methods] you can think of - that this new development could bring up?

I dont think it matters because you wont get any money from it. Youtube will be getting the money, I think they will receive a lot of backlash and revert it.

Only time will tell us whats going to happen.

We'll see. But maybe this way, small creators will be more exposure than before.

I think somebody will sue them soon because Americans like Lawsuits

It makes no sense for youtube to get revenue and give the channel owner $0.00

Say a channel gets demonetized, then youtube starts to show ads on channel and not give channel owner any money like those kids channel

I think YouTube will push small creators more because of this, so I'm not gonna complain.

It does feel like - the benefit of being monetised [as in YT pushing your videos a little more]

Will now be reversed

I mean surely they would rather push videos they get 100% of the ad revenue on...

People have said - it's a free service [YT] - so this is fair... BUT if they use content that has been made by people - either they should monetise it and give a share back... or not monetise it. It can't be fair that they think it's 'good enough' work/video to put ads on... but not good enough to pay the creator

My feeling is this could be a sneaky thing - that won't effect most creators - this is maybe for all those who reuse content, who get millions of views, who are NOT allowed to monetise... now YT can throw their own adds on those videos...

As much as people dislike the new changes I don't really see the problem with it.
The video owner wasn't getting any money out of the video anyway so what's his downside exactly?

I have a friend - yes I know sounds unbelievable already...

He has a small channel - I asked him why he was not monitised, I aksed him probably in April this year. He said he didn't want to have ads. He thought they would annoy his viewers. He was adamant that he didn't want ads on his videos.

And that is ads that he would make money off

I will be eager to speak to him again now, and see what he thinks of this development.

But in response to your post, that is one example of someone.

Not sure how many others are like that

I already had the feeling [once monitised] that ads put people off watching [a little] and how many I would dare put on videos... to make money and not reduce the view times/audience long term, too much

So maybe that's another example of someone who is not happy with this.

Finally as I said in my previous post - this will sure change YT motivation on which videos to push. So that could effect every single monitised YT creator.

So maybe that's a third set of people affected and not happy with this develpoment?

Don't piss me off, just when I stopped being terminated all the time. Heheh.
