New reddit update again?

Hey, for the latest 2/3 days literally every manually created account via adspower is getting shadowbanned within the next 12-24 hours (no actions are made on those account after setting them up besides scrolling back and forth, no upvotes or anything). Until the end of the next week I had 100% success rate for every account, not a single shadowban also was able to grow those account properly without facing any issues.
-fresh manually created gmails
-local 4g/5g internet connection via sim with hotspot with 0 fraud score / 5g proxies with the lowest fraud score possible
-adspower (right settings, no trackbacks, no fingerprints)
-tried both sunbrowser/flowerbrowser (with latest versions) > they match the useragent
-timezone/language matches the IP
-tried with WEBTRC on/off
-tried with hardware noise
-proper cpu/gpu/ram setup to make it look legit
-data sync for global cookies disabled

Like I said previously I've been having 100% success rate with my method until the last weekend.. are you guys in the same boat as me?

Advertise on BHW
Try registering accounts through the reddit app, and use ready-made accounts in the browser, this should help
 
I appreciate the tip, although I'm afraid I'll run into fingerprint issues on physical phones and it would be a headache to setup a completely clean device for every single new account, I might be wrong tho.

My clients and I just reinstall the app for each new account, so far it works

Was thinking about settings up different containers on IOS with crane, so it would save up some time, not sure if it could be traced though that way but I will give it a try.
 
When you log in with Google, Google itself already has credibility, so chances are your account won’t get banned — thanks to Google, not because of the proxy or anti-detect setup. I tried logging in with 5 accounts using the same IP and none of them got banned. Lol. The downside? The username is stupid and you can’t even change it.
 
Yes, you’re not alone — many are seeing the same sudden drop in success rate recently.
It’s likely Reddit/Google updated detection systems or flagged common behaviors/tool fingerprints.
Consider rotating user agents more aggressively or testing lesser-known antidetect browsers.

I do double email verification for each reddit account manually, 1st via the 6 digit code, 2nd via force email verification. It used to work until now but I feel like it’s not gmail related anyway

Interesting. Will try this out and see if it works.
Do you manually clear the data and cache before uninstalling or just simply uninstall and reinstall?

Thank you! Yes, I delete it, but there are no problems without it either. Reddit has a very high level of trust in the account if you use the app
 
just for comparison, try using completely different tools: browser, proxy, registration method, etc. There is a free browser, you can buy the cheapest proxies, and so on/ try to completely change the behavior factor/
 
Yes, many users are reporting similar issues lately—seems like there's a new detection or stricter filtering rollout affecting even clean setups.
 
You can get a cheap iPhone and jailbreak it then use Reddit and reinstall the app after each account
 
Maybe there should have at least a normal activity, like casual browsing, just like normal users after the account creation.
 
Yeah already doing that, although uninstalling the app its not necesarry, you can setup new containers with crane, saves a lot of time. Got a new batch of accounts that I made yesterday and seems like everything goes well so far.

thx for sharing, weird cause isn't google and gmail the same, how can reddit not detect this haha
and btw for 5 accounts using same IP do you use proxy or just your network?

Reddit itself allows multiple accounts to operate on the same network, but they must have different fingerprints (i.e., different devices). This often causes confusion for many people. The reason why 'Gmail login' and 'Login with Google' are treated differently is because Google's OAuth process is used to evaluate your trustworthiness, whereas a Gmail address is simply just an email — no different from Outlook or even disposable ones like Rambler. Suspicious behavior, such as having 'Login with Google' available but deliberately signing up using Gmail just to pick a custom username, will get flagged quickly. Sometimes, even if you do nothing and just try to wait out the day, you'll still get shadowbanned

Don't use adspower for account creation. 99,9% ban rate
