    If you have the money then contact local stores and show them the portfolio you have set up for the product. Sell online is easier with established websites.

    Put the product in the eyes of people first. I do this with websites but offline methods can work. Depends on the product and who would want it is where you put it for people to grab it up.

    Hi,

    Like most of users said in this thread, you need to determine first what is your product or service. It is impossible to do any marketing plan without that :)

    But some tips I would say are:
    1. Define what your product service does: What needs it meets
    2. How is it different from what is out there: Do your desktop research to find out who your competitors are
    3. Who is your target audience: Use Google Keywords tool to get an broad understanding

    Then you may get help from BHW users :)

    A lot of stuff is available on internet to market new product. :google2:. If you need suggestion from us then SEO and social media are quite better ones.

    The success of your product will great depend on how much you first invest in doing market research. You have not given any details of any product that you want to sell but will give just general guides. Research about the target market, any similar product in the market and any potential competition. this will help you in deciding on what method or platform you will use during product promotion. The product is new, and that means the potential buyers dont know anything about it. therefore you have to educate them about the product, the advantages and importance of having it. You have to package it in a form that it will be attractive and it will make them try it out. The first customers have to like it or else you will be destroyed in any future sales. Find efficient ways to penetrate the market by e.g giving bonuses and points to the first 100 buyers, selling it a cheap price or any method that you will find best. Make sure your product does not have any flaws for critics to use against you. I hope i helped you friend. All the best in your business.

    a new product will definitely need a lot of product promotion to try and convince the potential customers to use it. but the level of promotion will depend on if the manufacturer is completely new in the market or has other products or if the product is completely new or is an improvement.
