Hi boys and girls,

This is my first post on this forum and I hope it helps as I have learned a lot already from this forum!

Also, it's not my project and I haven't tested it so use at your own risk!

LinkCurl is a fork of Ping Crawl.

Differences between LinkCurl and Ping Crawl:

1. Uses cURL, so it works with shared hosting solutions (tested with Dreamhost, Media Temple, and HostGator)
2. Has a settings menu that allows bloggers to easily decide the following:
Tags, categories, or title as the basis of Google Blog Search results
The odds of LinkCurl running on a particular post
The number of results to grab from Google Blog Search
The number of links to display
Whether to verify if the sites linked accept pingbacks.

When I upload this plugin to my wp-plugins folder, it doesn't show up in plugins section of my admin panel? I think this may be due to the .phps extension, because that's what happened with another modified pingcrawl I tried to use. Is it okay to switch the extension to .php? If not, what can I do to fix this.

My host is Hostgator, not sure if this matters.

.phps files are the same as .php BUT the s stands for source, if you look at them in your browser you shoud see the php code in colors (if the options is turned on)..

it should work if you change it to .php

great thanks! I just changed it to php and it seems to be working. Any suggestions on what option setup would work best for this plugin?
