New Penguin Update Today?

I got few significant rank improvements on few sites, otherwise everything stayed the same on other ones.

We will have 2-3 threada/day for a long time ;) If tommorrow Matt Cuts says there won't be any change in the next months, it will be silence...C'mon guys!
 
For some of my sites keywords just climbing, and i using only original articles for any submission and manul work, no softwares, nothing similar. Maybe that's a reason.
 
My websites haven't moved but i can confirm there was something today, a lot of websites on top spots for some nice competitive keywords have dropped!
 
yah, on friday there was the start of it. Now today I've seen a major tweak in it. Looks pretty low quality though.

LOL, man you know they read this forum daily ... Probably even bought Jr VIP status on the low.

But seriously, I've noticed in the last few days two of my sites have seen a doubling in traffic because of a better SERP in Google. The secret was no secret at all, basically build a nice site to look at with extremely well spun content (not going to write that shit myself), and don't bombard it with too many ads over the fold. Also backlinking can be problematic nowadays so I didn't mess with it, mostly used social media like Twitter and Facebook.

Your only contributing to these 'updates' stating publicly what had happened to your sites rankings.

Stop it, concentrate on pushing out more ideas and continue to do what's working for you.

Don't feed matt and his team free information, if anything why not set up your own blog in regards to google updates and sell your findings for $25 and when you get any sells you know it's probably from the google team themselves lol.

You know, it's good to get something like this going when it happens.
Why? Because it helps others figure out what's going on...

You guys ever been hit with an update? Know what it feels to be so confused about what you did wrong?
Half of blackhatworld had no idea what was happening last year in march.

GUESS WHAT!?
They turned to others for an explanation.

And the explanations were rational, plus they worked.

So let's just bash on an internet community that shares information to open a dialogue between others who are having the same experience and gain insight into aspects of their work that they were in the dark about.

The UK payday loans niche has been like that for a year,no change there at all.
 
yah, that's not a good niche to watch for changes. it's manually reviewed too, so who really know's what's going on there.

I agree. First of all, Google already knows what the results are -- they have the analytics and the algorithm. Trust me when I say that no one from Google is looking in this or other forums for "results" of their algo changes. Second, as abyssal_miss pointed out, sharing information on BHW is a good thing. It is pretty much the only way BHW can get a handle on what's happening with Google outside of the media.
