New password issues. Need help please.

So with the new forced password changes to accounts I was able to get all of my accounts new passwords except one. The one I am having problems with is from a mail dot com mail box which I have not sold on in 3 months and I tried to have ebay send it to my email. I tried to sign into the mail account and it says it was deactivated due to not being used for more then 30 days.

So now what can I do? I dont have access to the phone on the account now and cannot get the text etc.

Anyone else have this issue and knows what I can do to fix it?

Your only option is to call them up and explain that you changed phones and emails. It's not guaranteed to work and it will likely take more than one call because most of the reps won't help you, but eventually you may be able to find a nice one willing to work with you. You'll be asked questions about your account to make sure it's your account (stealth name, address, phone number, etc) so be sure to have them handy.

The unhelpful reps will likely want to run your info through public records (similar to what they do to accounts that get the new MC999) - if that happens then you'll have to make up an excuse to get off the phone without them doing that. Good luck with everything.

Nope, without the people at mail dot com wont let me back into the account because they said it expired for non use. I cannot call them because it is a stealth account and they will ask questions I cant answer.
 
You can fix that problem in the future by never using Mail.com ever again.

I have never used Mail.com and I never will.

I only use Gmail not only because of the 30 day deactivation from inactivity that Mail.com has but also because Gmail blocks cookies and flash objects that eBay sends to your Email.

Be absolutely sure when using Gmail to go to settings and check ''ask before displaying external content'' because they can link you by cookies or flash objects if you dont.

Even when you create a new user account on your computer that does not stop eBay from cookies or flash objects linking by Email unless you use Gmail.
 
Email providers are very very very cheap. I can't understand why people take their money-making accounts and keep them in free providers.

Gmail has a 9 month deactivation from inactivity so as long as you log into your Gmail account within every 9 months you will never lose your Gmail address.

eBay sends you web beacons through images by email. So turn off images and always use decent
email providers. Before you use the email again turn off displaying images in security settings.
