I have a pinterest account for some years for my own use (I just save pins). I would like to make my own pins to be able to make affiliates and get traffic to my website. Is it better to start with my existing account (and make it for business) or to create a new? Will the pins from new account be promoted without ads?

You better start with what you have
it's aged and will be more trusted than the new one

I think you should contact some people in the advertising industry.

Pinterest blocked my account and I created a new one. The new one is getting better results than the old one.

Aged accounts are better, so I would say proceed with your aged account.

The decision depends on your goals:
  • Using Your Existing Account:
If your account has established followers and activity, converting it into a business account can provide a head start. However, ensure the transition aligns with your audience's interests.
  • Creating a New Account:
Starting fresh allows you to focus solely on your niche without being tied to past content. This approach is particularly effective if your current account's audience doesn't match your new goals. New accounts can still gain traction without ads, but you’ll need consistent, high-quality content and SEO-optimized pins. To manage multiple Pinterest accounts, consider using an antidetect browser, as it helps separate account activities securely.

old one, its no matter.
But old one is higher trust
