New Method, would like advice.

I have a new method of making money that I would like to monetize, I am creating a simple step by step ebook as we speak and would like to charge somewhere in the region of $10-$20 per copy.

I have been round and round the mill of ebooks and sites that charge for their methods and I have seen some ways I would like to employ as well.

If you have any feedback on these methods I would be really glad to hear them!

-is 10-20 $ a reasonable amount to charge, something is telling me that i should be charging like $200 for the method, but as there is 0 possibility of saturation, or at least it would take a long time to saturate this method. I am thinking I will get more people to buy @ the lower entry cost.

-Where should I promote this ebook? I would like to promote here, but am unsure of the rules, If it is ok to promote on black hat world, I have seen Warrior forum and i think the other one is called Digital point, as well as UK business forums, any other suggestions?

-Should I give out evaluation books, would that be a good way to increase the trust of this ebook, what if they say something bad about it, I cant see it but the method rocks and if I get a jaded skeptical person then my trust rating will be destroyed.

Is there anything else I should be taking into consideration?

Also sorry if my grammar is awful as well, writing this before I dash to the shops!

Limit the number of copies being sold to avoid saturation.
Even if it would take a long time to saturate this method, limit it.

So you think, maybe up the price a little and limit it to like 50 copies?

How much were you planning to sell it for? $10-$20 sounds pretty low IF it really is unique, up the price a bit and limit it to somewhere below 50.

As others are suggesting the more exclusive your book is, you avoid over saturation and can obtain a higher price.

However, I also think that those that garner higher prices also have been know to succeed and already have an established personality or following. If you are coming in new to a forum and say, "Hey, I got this awesome method. Pay me $100", it might be a tough road to get even 10.

10 Ways to Avoid A Failed Product launch:

1. Create a following - Whether it is here, on facebook, or through your own site you want people to be interested in what you have to say. They are also saying to themselves, who are you and why should I listen? As you have been here for some time now, make sure you interact with the forums and the users here or where ever you like to frequent.

2. Make sure you actually market your product - one marketing tactic does not equal success. You need to make sure you are really trying.

3. Make sure your product is understandable and fits the market /group you are targeting (sounds like you got this one down)

4. Make sure you package it well and it is appealing. Internet Marketers are kind souls, where they some times give you a pass, but make sure you do your best to present the product in a nice visually appealing package.

5. Ensure you have your support pieces in place to handle, questions, comments and concerns, refunds and issues folks with have with the product.

6. Offer 3 - 5 review copies on BHW to VIP or Seasoned members as you can leverage their honest review in selling more.

7. Have a price strategy in place. i.e. $100 for the first 25 buyers for 15 days (creates urgency & shows 50% off savings!), $200 for the next 25 (highlights interest and ups price point accordingly) My prices mean nothing, so price it according to what you want and need, but you do want to create urgency, excitement and interest.

8. Create value adds with the distribution with the product you are giving out. If you are telling people how you used xyz service or product, contact the owner of that product and see if they will give you a coupon or something as a freebie for referring people to them via your ebook. I am sure most would be interested in this.

9. Compliment your ebook with other products. ie Should you also offer coaching at a premium price for those that want a hand-held experience doing your method? How about a forum where they can all discuss and have access to you... which is a value thing.

10. Appreciate the customers that you get - Make sure you have a follow up plan in place to not only thank your customers, but get referrals from them. A nice way to get referrals is by offering an affiliate option with your ebook. Instead of you selling your product, you can get 100s of people selling your product.

if the method is earnig u a shitload of money right now id say u bank as much as u can then when it dies down..then sell it at even 10$ a pop

yeah I think that makes sense, I think I will continue and make some money but continue to create a and package the product as an ebook.
