Check the server setting. Some shared hosting disable for example mbstring. Thus you cannot get the plugin working.

This is a good idea, but where to promote the link to your "youtube" page then? And this plugin does not even work with youtube. It does not display the banner and the video cannot be watched, it shows "an error occured". Youtube is blocking this plugin by CSP.

Plugin works, but cannot be used for all sites.

Yes, it works but some sites (10% of them) will not allow this plugin.
