It can be daunting in the early stages. Start by doing something you have genuine interest in. Take a look through journey threads and look for anything you feel suits you, you have probably been through that section already, go through it again. If nothing lights your fire then just pick one and go for it, if you fail so what - you will have learned a heap of information in the process.
Everyone usually fails with their first few projects, its the ones that take those failures with a positive attitude that are becoming successful IM'ers. You WILL fail on some of your projects, don't fear this.
Its all trial and error, whether your new or a seasoned pro.
