It's been 19 years since I was first introduced to computers. I was 3. In all that time, I've played with the old gopher sites, I was around when yahoo went up. My family even spent a little time with the creator of A&W internet- one of the early .com millionaire search engines that got sold off and died. I've gotten good at a few games, learned some basic power user sort of stuff. Basically I haven't grown much in all this time and it's beginning to frustrate me. Everything is so stale. From trolling to gaming, I'm starting to feel the strain of my limited knowledge.
If i came here even a year ago, I would be nervous. I would have been concerned that I would be too incompetent to learn. I would have found my self worried about the usual forum crap, and how people use each other, and how it could go too far, too fast in a place where I know I'll be playing the n00b for a while. As it is though, I'm bored with the limitations of my knowledge, and I don't know where else to go. I'm ready to set aside my concerns that someone has the money to subpoena my proxies server logs, or drop off some nasty root kit. So here's the new meat, tell me how I should start. A link is good. A cat is fine too.
