Please point me in the right direction.

I'm just getting started with trying to make money online. I'm gearing towards affiliate marketing because I don't have a lot of money to spend. I don't have my own product and never owned my own business.

There are many Internet Strategies and products that people are trying to sell. I don't know which to trust. Some of them just want your money and not really trying to help you.

Is there a good mentor to learn from or site to get started with Internet Marketing mainly, affiliate marketing?

All other forums sell crazy shit, BHW has lot of valuable material for free. First try to earn few bucks, offerin ur services..however small..like in fiverr, or writing articles. Once you make enough money, purchase a domain, do seo, and earn via adsense, cb, etc!

Use the search button, you'll find everything you need. You need to take the time to read, getting spoon fed will get you nowhere.

Best thing to do is start small and work your way up. I use fiverr.com when I started and I earned quite a bit from that. Now, don't just use fiverr, go with other services. You can also do odd jobs all over the web to earn some money. Hope that helps.

As nithinreddy said, a lot of forums sell different stuff but it can be found here for free. Also get a domain and host. Browse it "99% Off First Month For HostWinds" .

You need to read and browse topics then its time to take action and that is what matters. You are going to have tough weeks where at first you wont see a lot of profit from your marketing and you are going to wonder if you should keep going. Dont ever give up, keep moving forward and you will hit your financial goals.
