Hey guys, just wanna clarify...

is it true that when a new website gets indexed, it will be DEEP into Google search results temporarily?

I told one of my friend to do submit his site using those "domain indexer", pinging his page and submitting to social bookmarking. He later did some backlinkings.

His site is already indexed; but is nowhere to be found in the search results.

Is this just Daddy G's dance?

depends on competition too, but if its on like +500 or so it will come up if its optimized, for how up depends on many things :) tell him to start build backlinks, that's all i can say for now

From my experience, it will initially spend a few weeks pretty high in the rankings - I guess it's a 'new website exemption' - sooner after that without solid backlink building you will see it drop considerably before stabilising - how it fares after that depends on the sites SEO optimisation and the backlinking...
