Hey folks my name is Syzpe (or Jay) and I'm new to BHW - been lurking around the past few days and rather enjoyed it and think I may stick around for a while.
I got my start in affiliate marketing when I worked for Apple as Jr affiliates account manager - and god did I hate it! Working there was terrible - but I did keep tabs on the strategies that my accounts were using to bank and eventually I left and started using these strategies to do affiliate sales. I mostly did Amazon stuff for a while - DVDs, housewares, etc, but I found a real win when digging into Reddit as not many people know how to game it super in-depth, and so I would sell Reddit traffic and placements to local companies as well as driving some of my own affiliate traffic.
I became a bit of a drifter travelling through Asia and Europe for a few years, going to local marketing and affiliate meetups in coffee shops and making some friends along the way, many to this day are in a little mastermind Skype group I run, we're nothing TOO special but when we work together we can make some real progress - and some of them are absolute characters. Almost 3 years later I am back in North America visiting some old friends and family through the north east US and southern parts of Canada before I find a place to call a more permanent home.
Now that I have more time to be involved in communities online rather than just grind grind grind, I began my search of various affiliate/marketing/seo forums and found BHW. So far it seems like a fairly friendly place so I figured I'd say hi!
