New here- Hey

Hey I'm new here, really happy I stumbled upon this wealth of information. I'm a writer, musician, blogger, and video creator looking to learn as much as possible about internet marketing as I am well aware of its potential-- it's hard to even get a job as a copywriter without "SEO experience" nowadays.

To be honest the amount of information here is almost overwhelming me at first and I'm wondering if anyone has any tips on where to start.

Thank you guys for your replies. I read the sticky above in this forum and it pretty much helped with the "where to start" question and such. For other new people I suggest you check it out for sure. I hope to use the skills I already have to my advantage but I can see that I have a lot to learn! Back to reading I go.
