I really enjoy writing and was planning on joining Textbroker to help monetize that but experienced some difficulties. Unfortunately, that is no longer a viable option for me so I am hoping to find a similar service here. I noticed some threads describing people that write for someone who would then upload the article to their Textbroker account, with the profits then being shared. I would certainly be interested in an arrangement similar or identical to that, or if anyone can post some tips here for a newbie such as myself on how to get started I would really appreciate it.

It seems like you write very well. Why not cut out the middleman and write for the buyers directly?

Well, I have no idea how to do that. I have never tried something like this before and don't know where to begin. Have you done anything like this in the past?

This.

Also, there are gigs that pop every now and then in the hire a freelancer section in need of content writers. You might wanna try your luck over there.
Good luck!

Let's try a little exercise. If you were to charge for your writing, what would your price be per 100 written words, ballpark?

In my brief scan of this website, I have found that $3/500 was a typical price. Since I have no references and am brand new, I could certainly dip a little below that price point to start out. Eventually, I would like to be writing for more than just .6 cents per word.

Good writers can get paid alot! Once you build a client base that are satisfied with your work, up your prices

Do you have any tips as to how I could build a client base? As of right now, my client base sits at zero people.

If I was in the market for a good content writer, which I currently am not, but if I was, based on your writing ability from what you've posted thus far, I'd happily pay you $2.50 per 100 words, so over quadruple what you thought. Don't sell yourself short, but you've gotta sell yourself. There are plenty of people on here who make a full time living content writing.

Join discussions, contribute a few things to BHW over the next couple of months, get up to 100 QUALITY posts and 60 days, invest the $97 + $20, write up a good sales pitch, offer reviews in the Jr. VIP section, and create a sales thread offering your services. The buyers will surely come.

And at $2.50 per 100 words, if you can write 4,000 words a day, you're looking at $100 a day. I'd say that's a little more than Textbroker is offering. Shit, I probably write close to half that just on this board for free in a day's time.

I don't know. But you should make a few good articles Incase people ask for samples of your work.

Hi mate.

Have you tried iwriter.com? Also, why not offer to write a few articles for free, i know alot of writers get clients if they are happy with their work.

Your English skills are far better than $3/500 words. You wouldn't exaggerate at all if you asked for at least $10/500 words, which is really not bad for someone just starting out. Even with 5 articles written in a day's time you would earn $50, which is quite great, depending on where you are coming from.

Spend some time appraising your skills, see what others that have similar or better skills than you are charging, and then make your decision.

First of all , you need portfolio, you need to have samples to show people .

For a start ,you can try hire a freelancer area or Upwork . With no portfolio, it would be the best to offer your service at a lower price , get some work done and ask your client to give a review or referrals when you want to promote yourself .

By the way, I am also looking for some writer to work with in some project . I can give you some offer if you can send some article samples in. Probably not as high as 2 per 100 words , but should be higher than your initial expectation .

Pm me some samples if you are interested =)

Sounds great! I think my account is not old enough for me to private message you, can you communicate via email?

Almost every (unenlightened) writer starts life in a writing mill, lol. i know, cause I've been there. Try $1 per 100 words, I genuinely think you can write well and would be able to command a good fee.

Lol you say that like it's just content mills, i'm writing at that rate on freelance sites, freelancer.com is just the fucking worst, $6.25 for 1000 words like wtf. Luckily I got a great client who's willing to pay me $12 for 1000 words, I spent a few minutes thanking God in prayer for that one.

I'm looking for someone who can give me some work to get me started writing articles. I've two example articles to show you my writing skills and I'll be happy to send them to anyone who can help out.

the best way to make money with your article writing is to offer service at freelanciing sites
