*I posted an introduction earlier and was told to open this AMA.

I'm here to share some of my experiences in the world of cold outreach, agencies, & SaaS.

I've started my digital agency a few years back and easily skyrocketed our MRR to $50K/mo through cold organic outreach, social selling, & growth hacking techniques.

Not only did I grow my own agency this way, I've coached other agency owners & founders on reaching 5-6 figure months as well.

There's a twist to my story though...

I fired ALL of my clients.

Why?

To launch our SaaS product that helps agency owners & founders book sales meetings on autopilot through cold outreach.

I took what worked for our agency, & built the system into a fully-featured SaaS product that helps entrepreneurs sell with little effort.

We're now at $20K/mo which is much better than working INSIDE of the agency & generating $50K months.

We're still growing organically & just started running paid ads.

I'd like to answer any questions you guys have for me so I can be a contributing member to this forum.

Questions

1. How/Where do you find potential clients?
2. How do you convince them to buy from you?
3. What is the average package size you offer to your customers?
4. What are the response rates? (Send, Opened, Converted)
5. Any more experiences which you learned during handling clients? (Like clients leaving away after some months, competitors providing cheaper rates etc.
6. When you started out (with no reviews of your agency), how would you get clients to believe in your service?
7. Since you fired all your clients, Can you instead provide their contacts so that I could sell them? :D

How did you setup your Cold Email System, did you buy lists?

We actually have our own software that finds our lists of key-decision maker contacts.

Our tool also launches the email outreach campaigns.

We simply tie this to a LinkedIn automation tool to have them run together.

1. LinkedIn + Email for high-ticket clients
2. You identify key pain-points that your solution helps them solve. Send follow-ups to make them understand that they have the problem.
3. I was selling $5-$15K/mo contracts at the time. I now sell SaaS for $97/mo.
4. Small batches, getting around 30-40% response rates, but it all depends (including LinkedIn)
5. People can be cheap & leave for something more affordable or that works better. Acquisition is only the 1st step in building an agency. You need to understand how to retain them.
6. A simple landing page & social proof will suffice. I've never even used case studies heavily. Just get them on a call and when they know they have the problem, and they can afford your services, they'll surely pay you top dollar for it.
7. LOL. They're no longer clients but they're still "customers" if that makes sense. We're launching a DFY prospecting service in our SaaS for this soon. Looking for partners to pick up these leads.
