New Here and Noticed That So Much Content is Outdated

Just an observation and I know I will take s^&t for it, but why is SO MUCH content in the forum and marketplace so outdated. For example, I read a post about Facebook group posting and I was told to go to xyz site and it ended up being dead and instead now called Socinator. For a forum that claims to be on the cutting-edge of all things Internet, I have noticed that there is so much outdated stuff that is just crap. Someone, please explain.

BHW has been around for years.

Older content you find that was posted years ago is mostly going to be only relevant during the time it was posted.

Everything changes with time. Look at newer content being posted.
 
This forums been around for over a decade, so of course there's old and outdated content. If that's an issue then look at the thread date, and if it's old, ignore it.

Personally most of my campaign ideas come from older, hidden threads. Some info might be outdated, but it can spark some pretty innovative ideas.
 
Actually many people are also outdated.
But, they are still resourceful, so we actually can't get rid of them.

Try using your own twists with the content shared here.

And BTW, IM's most outdated niche is SEO, which still works. There is no magic pill.

You can either waste 4 years going from trend to trend, or you can be successful in 1 year doing something that's always worked.

The choice is yours.

There's a date with every post. Check it. If something was posted a long time ago, which can be, because BHW was started in 2005, don't be too surprised, if the content is outdated. But even outdated stuff can work, if you change this or that.
 
A bunch of things are outdated for sure, you can sort things by last updated "last 6 months" if you click the filters. Some old info is still useful however (probably 10%, you can rehash the ideas)

Agree a bunch with this. You can also combine methods. I'm brainstorming a way of combining instagram automation in a niche and linking it back to an e-commerce site with a blog I can practice SEO on. If it works one day I'll let you guys know

Some of the best posts i've found on here are from like 2010 you don't need to reinvent the wheel
 
I find the people here very helpful. Just check post dates on threads. Any specific ones in particular?
