New guy looking for a mentor

I know this is probably a long shot but here goes.... I'm your average joe 9-5 worker. I make okay money and don't loathe my job but there's always room for improvement right? I've been researching IM for a couple weeks and have gotten somewhat of the gist of it but could use more help and knowledge like I'm sure everyone can. Not looking to have my hand held and I am pretty technically savy, just looking for some guidance and some explanations of some of the terms used here etc. You can msg me on skype at hxcadam.

First lesson, this is a Black Hat site and you should have said you were a girl. You would have a ton of willing mentors by now!

hey hxcadam, I am in the same boat - 9-5 rat race type but spend my waking hours between work and sleep on here learning what I can.

I've dabbled with some lead gen sites, and now trying EMD type sites to get some quick local advertising type deals done.

No no, saying you are 8 or 10 and starting a journal of your journey or something (ok ok usually 15 - 18) tends to do the trick!
