New Google Update ????

hello guys

anyone noticed a new google update? i think there was a google update that hit mostly 301 redirects.just had some ranked and all got hit.i see also a difference how those 301 redirects are indexed now.

anyone can confirm anything about this or i am just paranoid ?

I noticed huge rank drops on my sites without redirect
 
Explain like am 5 yrs...is this something one should be worried about? will they be re-indexed again? perhaps?
 
All of my rankings went up, but I have a strict "no spun content" policy and only link build using valuable articles that people can actually read. I don't use 301's unless I have bought another business, then I make a landing page on my website with the companies name and state that the company no longer exists and we have taken over, then linking to my home page. Google Review has changed, so you may have been flagged.
 
Well I know for a fact there was a local update (pigeon) less than a week ago. So maybe you're just experiencing some volatility from that update.

Other than that mozcast temp is pretty low. So it doesn't seem to be registering there (although mozcast tends to be shit in general).
 
then looks like is only me,anyway i am sure there was something done,can't just happen to all 301 same time.
 
What just happened with the 301's. Can you explain more?

I got a couple of old domains and was thinking of doing 301 to my money sites... but after reading this, I am kinda paranoid lol
 
It's possible that there was an update - the #1 sites in two niches I'm in were knocked to #11 and #14 respectively, and both lost their ranking in the local pack too. Coincidence, perhaps, but perhaps some type of update.

Google has gone crazy with updates. A new update every month :(

i am sure there was an update even that was a small one ,and i am sure it have something to do with 301 redirects
