New Google Spam Patent

Anyone seen the new patent that Google have applied for regarding identifying artifical links

Thanks for the link, MSN has got one really similar and actually better than Google's i feel. With this one from Google it's still fairly easy to manipulate, and with how i do things now even my really spammy sites i doubt would be flagged with this.

Also the patent was just approved, but it was submitted in 04 so i'd say it's currently being used as they don't need to wait for patent approval to use the technology.

i can see this sort of thing maybe affecting people who run massice xrumer campaigns and the like. but for the most part i can't see them being too much of an inconvenience for most.
