Found this article about a new G indexing API that might replace sitemaps.

Quote from the article:

Google’s new Indexing API support page say “it can only be used to crawl pages with either job posting or livestream structured data”, but of course I was curious and it turns out that we can get regular pages crawled as well, and damn fast.

How fast did it crawl my pages? Within 1 minute, and I’m not even kidding.

Seems like you need to use some code like NodeJS or similar to get it to work, what do u guys think about this? Could be pretty sick to use right now while its still being tested by G?

I think This will be a better and easy way to get the index website pages as Google has some issue in past while indexing pages.

Anybody used this API? I was wondering if It's useful to use it on a high traffic website with a lot of links.
