New Google Feature, How will it affect SEO?

I cant see this feature either?? I have tried FireFox and Chrome...signed in Google and not signed in? Maybe its only available in certain areas at the moment?

There should be blue magnifying glass icons next to site titles. Click on one of them.

Just to add to this thread, I've been playing around with the preview feature (read that as checking my sites with it) and I've noticed that some site thumbnails, specifically ecommerce sites, are appearing fairly messed up in the preview.

Looks like some designs/layouts/scripting is getting hammered by the preview thumb and call-out highlight creation process.

That could be bad news for some e-tailers going into the heart of the holiday shopping period.

Hi,

You'll see a little magnifier sign next to the website url. If you click on it you will see the site preview. :)

Seems this only works in some countries. I used a proxy and it worked, otherwise not

Google Instant is a recent enhancement that makes searches on Google even quicker, as if they weren't quick enough already!
All in all !!!
However, it seems that Google Instant has many positive qualities that will change the way we search and hopefully will assist in business SEO practices.

To those that CAN'T SEE IT: updates are almost never instantaneous for all servers so just think as if you could see it and share your thoughts on that if you like. No need to water down the thread.

I think the preview feature could backfire for yet another reason. It is like telling this is what we think is relevant to your search now you decide if it is. Meaning they are telling me to do my homework myself.

People trust the SE's judgement because it usually works. They don't want to be 'empowered', they want someone else to do the effort. If G decides to persist though and nobody ousts them we're have to start to decide ourselves where to click.

Another problem for webmasters can be the easier identification of certain websites. There are some pretty high ranking autoblogs that get closed as soon as they load because users know them already. Seeing the hated layout in advance will set the mouse flying to the next result. Easily taken care of by changing the layout / color scheme once a week or so.

as long as you maintain your site everyday I don't think it will affect anything bad for your seo
