I don't know if Xrumer profiles are still effective now since Google changed their algorithms.
Any inputs are welcome...

What are you talking about ?
Last change was about content farms ... Yes they are still very effective however you need to index them... That`s the hard and expensive part.

I am really starting to think that forum profiles have lost a lot of value in one of the algo updates that Google has released in the past 2 - 3 weeks.

I am blasting several of my sites but nothing is really happening and before with the same amounts of blasts I could see positive changes almost on a daily basis. Anyone seeing similar things?

i had same question, i blast more than before but the rank still there.

well i think forum profiles are still worth, at least it works for me....getting a link is not important it is more important from where you get the link...

i feel the same. still have some weight, but not as before...

I'm one of those that had positive ranking effect with n-o-f-llow links from comments. I've noticed lately that n-o-f-ollow links from SB blast had no positive effect and might even had a negative effect but I'm not sure about the negative.

On the other hand, with profile links + indexing them, I saw a positive impact on ranking but less than it used to be.

My understanding is that Google de-valued significantly (might be totally) the n-o-f-ollow links for ranking.

In addition, I think Google devalued the link juice from pages that they identify as poor value.

Profile pages are mostly considered duplicate pages on the same sites and therefore I think eventually will lose their effect.

@All: Thanks for your input. Your information is helpful for all of our members to find out the way to win new G. :)

Profile link are still effective, but they have been devaluated.
They now count as "me" links : much less weight than before.

Though XRumer can also be used to post into forums, with links into the posts or in signature. It's not as easy as blasting profile links, but it's likely to carry much more weight.

They've been blocked for awhile now.

Just think about it. Do you guys honestly think that google has no idea what xrumer is? Do you think they don't know that people are spamming blogs/forums/community sites and placing their links in the profile?

How difficult would it be for google to simply treat profile backlinks as no follow? The fact is not very difficult.

Iam extremely frustrated with xrumer profile links. I blasted over 100k(direct to money site) I ran scrapebox link checker came up with 33k public ran scrapebox autoaprove list on them and nothing. I gained over 1200 links in yahoo so far and no serp change at all. Google is not showing any extra links in webmaster tools. Serp is the same. Iam blasting posts right now with signature links to my ezine articles(articles link to my site). Perhaps I need to wait more time?..but iam extremely frustrated I guess I will have to start writing/buying articles for backlinks? Google can seriously fuck up lots of people lives. For example ezine articles if their revenue dropped 33% than I see some employees getting laid off.

I do think that that XRUMER is losing its effectiveness. I have not seen any improvement in SERP rankings after a fairly large blast. Its been quite a while already and nothing yet.

Xrumer is not losing its effectiveness, you just need to know how to use it. Xrumer profile links are still great for second tier linking.

It looks to me that SB and xrumer links have both taken a MAJOR hit as far as effectiveness for SERP movement.

As blacat mentioned above, I think direct SB blasts are actually hurting rankings at this point. Direct blasting of xrumer links seems to have very little, if any effect at this point.

I think the answer is becoming obvious, although its still early in the game... finally they seem to be enforcing the "quality" over "quantity" rules!

I've noticed some great improvements in the last weeks using profile links, but watch what kind of link you take with xrummer. I've tried to index some inner pages of forums with my links and Google rejected them, they never indexed.
So try to prove every kind of links you get to see at least they could be indexed...
