Same here - just checked one of my keywords manually and its back where it should be. Issued an update request to serp tracker also, and its now showing in the correct place.

Ouch! Last night, I had one of my new blog site articles ranking 3rd on the first page on top of giants like WebMD but below Healthline. Gave me brief joy!
And now it has fallen into the bottomless pit again ...ha ha ha.
One of my local sites dropped on the main keyword from page 2 to 3. And other keyword pages were ranking 1st wow!
But back to original rankings. I guess the glitch update rolled back. ( Big G is planning on something big)

Something hasn't happened. But something is going to happen soon. Bots are acting crazy.
Whether this was a glitch or some kind of experiment, I wouldn't be worrying about it much. Because since the last couple of days many keywords are disappearing and then reappearing, just they weren't at this large scale .

Seems pretty clear that it was a glitch then. I wonder what caused it though - probably impossible to say, but it just makes me think, is that an insight into something that is going on behind the scenes; was it a pending update that was accidentally pushed live, or was it an integral part of Googles infrastructure went down, or someone pressed the wrong button?

"Omg my shitty backlinks aren't indexing, google has fucked up lol they're so shit", Yeah right - Why would they index spammy GSA links? It's definitely not a mistake from a $Billions company. They're doing/testing something. Every update, every "glitch".
It's all about getting more ad revenue, IMO.

Yup; I dont beleive for a second that it was a glitch or a bug. My reasoning; I just don't think Google would tell the truth here, if it was a glitch I think they would have said it was testing. If it was something else, easier for them to go with the public opinion and say it was a glitch.
