Gmail is adding an unsubscribe link to the top of marketing emails:

What do you think of it?

Will Gmail?s easy unsub button be a problem for email marketers, because this might bring up a trend where people just unsubscribe because the button is more prominently displayed?
Or if you are running genuine campaigns with an interested community, there's no reason to worry about?

Not much worry here imo... I don't click 98% of the emails that come in my inbox anyway so its not like I even see these email promotions. If you want to see an email, youll see it, unsubscribe buttons wont stop you. Genuine campaigns will always reign supreme!

Probably it will have effect in a small scale. If people opted in on the niche, chances are they still be interested

OP do you believe the search function is wrongly placed? From your experience you think is hard to use?
