The fact that they felt the need to point out they were a girl makes me think that they aren't one.

It's common sense, why state that you're a girl if you're not trying to benefit/gain attention from it? It's like a 12 year old IM'er starting a thread titled "12 year olds' journey to $10,000 a month". People would get right on top of that and say "nobody cares about your age, etc etc".

Just sayin'.
