    Hello,

I've been here for some yrs now and I'm not aware of this feature.
If I'm wrong please point me in the right direction.

    Problem:

Me for one, have a lot of subscriptions to a lot of threads. Often there are threads I like to follow and I hit subscribe. This could be because:
    1. I find a certain user knowledgeable and I like to hear more about what he has to say in this thread OR
    2. I subscribe to threads because I think a certain thread discusses a important topics I'm interested in OR
    3. Perhaps I like to follow case studies.

Sometimes important things/threads get lost/forgotten due to threads that's not updated frequently.
And when the email update arrives in my inbox I can't always remember what it was all about...
May I be so bold and say that I get the feeling of unstructured updates. Hope you guys know what I mean?

    Solution:

There should be an easier way to follow members and threads in here through separate RSS feed or something.

Here's my thoughts regarding this and the feature I'd love(!) to see:

You've seen the feature in Twitter and Facebook where you can make your own feed/list of people you follow?
Or as on Facebook make a feed for Pages and/or Users you Like/are friend with?

We should have a similar feature in here in BHW! That would have been awesome!
And it would make it very easy be kept updated instead of using the "subscribe to thread email function".

    - We should be able to create several "feed lists".
    - Each member should have their own easy to access menu button/text link saying "Feed lists" where we can click in on our feed lists overview page and select the feed list we want to display. A good position could be for example just beneath the "Private Messages" text link at the top right corner.
    - Each member should be able to make as many feeds as he wants. We can then make feed lists and get an easy overview of our own interest fields.

For example I can have feed lists for:
    - "SEO case studies" threads I'd like to follow
    - "Google +1/Facebook/Twitter case studies" threads I'd like to follow
    - "knowledgeable members in SEO" I'd like to follow
    - "knowledgeable black hat technique members" I'd like to follow

We should be able to subscribe to members feeds and to threads feeds.
And we should be able select/arrange which feed list we want a new feed subscription to be displayed under.

    Get my point?

I'm sure this can be done in a lot of different ways. These are just my suggestions.

Does anyone else in here think this is a good idea or is it just me? Please answer the poll.

Make an RSS feed and I bet we will have BHW Blogs all over :D

Threads in BHW > Autoposters > BHW Blogs ^_^

Ok then. But if not using RSS, then there's probably another way to make this happen?
Or perhaps don't make the RSSs publicly available in some way?
