Just noticed this tonight...a Friend can now opt-out of receiving events from your profile, and they can do it really simply. Check the pic attached.

I don't know how long it's been like this, if anyone knows when this first came about, let me know.

No you're right Inception, it's not new, I believe it was implemented when apps were using events heavily. I believe if you do the same for an app you're given the option of removing the app, but I could be wrong I'd have to double check.

I think it has been around for at least 6 months
It helps ppl to ignore event spam from specific users without removing them from their friends' list.
