I noticed this earlier today and I thought I would post it for those of you who haven't noticed it yet.

They are now showing how many people "liked" a certain comment on a wall post.

interesting, looks like some new feauters but i didnt notice it yet on my facebook :)

Its been around for about a month now. They will soon create an internal search engine with 'likes' being a ranking factor.

I just noticed that just yesterday myself

huh, pretty cool, I wonder if there's a way to get a comment to go viral with "likes"...

Wow, just wow.
Earlier on i was thinking about this, that they should let you like someones comment. Thats so weird. Ha.

I think FB will go to more people just because its used by more people Twitter is still kinda for the tech / geeks where FB is mass general appeal and use, however I think Twitter will go faster just not as long imo.

I wasn't aware that this has been around so long, but I have heard about the search engine you mentioned and the ranking system it's algorithm will follow.

You make a good point, but I am not sure if this will be possible. Even if it is, it probably will not carry the potential that a viral group/fan page would. However, it is definitely something worth looking into.

I agree with you 100%. You made some very good points!

Yea, as far as I am concerned it is new everywhere. I do not know what he is talking about when he says this has been around for a month; maybe he has it confused with something else. IMO, it definitely HAS NOT been around for a month and was implemented earlier in the day the night I originally posted this thread.

Yeah, I have noticed that.
I like it.
Do you like it?
