So, I opened up a new account this afternoon, and proceeded to Request the usual bunch of Friends to the account. A few hours later, I was faced with a new type of warning, as follows;
1) FB logged me out. When I logged back in, I was faced with a standardized message that was a basic warning against Spam, and a checkbox asking if I wanted to delete all Pending Friend Requests.
2) I was also asked to enter a CAPTCHA...can't remember which was first.
3) Account was then restored.
In that standardized message, Facebook informed that there was no actual numerical limits on any type of messaging, and that their systems looked at things like speed, etc.
I'll take a screenshot next time this happens....it's new though, that's for sure.
