Hey guys
so we just started to list our shop products on ebay.at today
i put about 20 products so far, we are fresh on this so our account has no real sales so far and no reviews
we considered the premium shop packaged for lower listing fees, but we need to have some feedback and 10 sales if i remember.
whats a good way to get the orders starting so we can get those initial reviews and orders ?
thanks

ebay listings fees are minimal, free in many cases unless you use a lot of upgrades to listing. So the discount on listing fees is not that important, but you will see as your sales grow that any discount on fees will help when the bill comes every month. Keep your customers happy and shoot for the top rated seller discount of 15%, this one really helps. Heck my ebay bills this month is almost $500 after trs discounts, yikes. You can pick up some quick sales with ebooks, selling coupons is an easy one, just costs a stamp to ship, or you could pick a very low cost item in your inventory and just try to break even on it.

I've been doing the ebay thing for over a decade now and just wanted to give you some starting helpful advice. Its always a good thing to send a thank you email to your customers once they pay, I recommend an auto-responder to handle this for you. This will help with your communication rating, and always update customer on shipping status/ tracking info as soon as possible. Lastly, put a business card, or small thank you card in with every order with the address of your website or ebay store. You will be amazed at the repeat business you will get, customers remember stuff like that and will come back for the service even if prices arent as good as competition.

as suggested above start off buying and selling some really cheap items, ebooks are great for this, there are heaps of 1c auctions around that are there just for the purpose of building feedback
