New dude

Hey everyone,

New guy in town. A damned dirty hippy, at that.

Been doing web site work and related things for about seven years now, recently launched a new web hosting company as well. I also own a few various other sites that I use for AdSense revenue, and joined up here to see what I can do to earn a bit more.

Anyhow, figured I'd pop in here and offer a formal introduction before jumping into conversations. See you around!

Whats that? I didn't post a link to anything, simply providing an introduction and a little background about myself. Can't quite seem to figure out why there would be any rules placed about having your first post in an Introductions related forum...

The link to my hosting company won't ever be posted here, I hate spammers and I sure as hell aren't going to spam my services on this place.

With that said, not sure what you're going on about

Anyhow, been reading a lot around here. To be quite honest, never really knew of any BlackHat SEO related tips and tricks before hand. Only looking to use these methods on my 'other sites'.

All Cybertron was trying to say it that it can / does appeared to be an attempt at self promotion.

Trust is a commodity around the net these days ya know.

Other than that if an honest mistake, Welcome ..

Absolutely an honest mistake, I was just saying, "Hey" and "This is what I know about the internet already"

I would never promote my host under the screen-name, "Dirty Hippy" anyhow, haha.

It's all good. I can understand where they're coming from, and I feel better knowing that users know how to and often use the Report feature. I don't really join new forums, I just find most of them aren't managed well enough or are to over ridden with spam or shill responses, etc. So its good to know that shit is managed properly here

yes that is correct. Seems these days there are a ton of "new members" who have something to sell or promote.
I am a bit on edge as I am trying to run the proper channels to get a BST thread approved (still waiting on a reply) yet I see threads like this everyday.
Im sure you didnt mean it but you now have told the entire network that you offer web hostings and I can bet your getting PMS!! while if i even open my mouth to my services I will get the BAN. Sorry just being pissy here..

Honest mistake. Trust me. Every forum I join to promote that business I sign up with under my company name.
