New domain, which one should I use and WHY?

Hi guys. This may not be so much of Black Hat but i didnt know where to put the thread, here or in WH section, so i post here. I hope no mods will be angry or so. Keep your great work up guys, love this site. :)

Anyway.
Im going to start a new site. I have my keyword and lets call it : Blue Pants

This verision of domain is taken:
BluePants.com/org/net/info
Blue-Pants.com/org/net/info

But this version is available:
BluePantsINFO.com/org/net/info

I wanna Rank for the term: " Blue Pants ". Would that be great, even with the "info" behind? And one more thing, which TLD is better in seo way (.com/org/net/info) and why...Thanks guys!

Yes, it is fine to include the word info in it. .com/.net/.org are all really the same. Anything else is not.
 
Yeah, the general rule of thumb is to always get the Exact Match Domain if available, and then .com/.net/.org before any other.

So you mean that i baisicly can rank high with my seo skill for : Blue Pants if my domain is: BluePantsInfo.com ?

What about .uk.com aint that a super top TLD?
 
yes adding info at the end is fine, its just a little easier with an exact match. Keep in mind that .com/.net/.org are NOT the same though.
.com is the best
.net is second best
.org is third best
Don't bother with anything else.

a .com with one "-" in it is about the same as a .net
never use more than one "-" it looks spammy

Who cares? Don't use em basically lol. Some companies use .biz because they think its catchy I guess. If your ever going to make it in the SEO game you won't use a .info or .biz. Do a search for anything, do you ever see a .info or .biz in the top 10? Rarely....

You are joking right?

.com/net/org all rank equally when it come to seo and i would even go as far as sayin .org is the best for affiliate marketing since casual surfers assume a .org is 'not for profit' and would trust a .org review or info more than say a .net

I woudl rather a .net or .org without the dash than a .com with dash.

My top 3 money sites are all .org!!

Now if you are talking domain value then of course 3d.com will be more valuable than 3d.org as a standaone domain.

I wounder one more thing.
If i have like InfoBluePants.com, would that be a big NO for my seo or what? Prefix/suffix? I dont get it..

Well lets say you startup a new site or want to rank something then your first choice would be .com! There are prob more .com sites than any other tlds so if there are more .com's ranking higher then maybe its becuase .com is the most popular and therefore the most used for seo explains that simple stats. Not to mention a .com of any keyword would also be much older then the .net or .org!!

The article does not look at relative data in terms of equal number of .com and .net registered at thesame time and how they compare?

Should i take the .net verision or this one: KeywordSite.com ?

I provided at least one source of proof to back up my claims at least....

xstyle, if a exact match isn't available, and your going to throw an extra word in there just so you can get the domain... Go with the keywordsite.com

But wounder one thing, why did you choose The .com verision of keywordsite.com ? Is it because .com will be more powerful for seo then .net and .org would be?
 
.com .net and .org are very similar in terms to rank for but if you want to create a long term site where you are expecting to have a lot of visitors returning to your site ten a .com is a lot more memorable
 
Guys, i think we have a problem.

KeywordSite.com is already taken, what a miss i did! But the Keywordsite.net and .org is available.
Should i take one of these or what should i do? Can i add something after Keyword like KeywordX.com ? Or would that be to spammy?

Help me out guys..
