I have a site that is getting 12-15k monthly UV, and I found a niche that I know really well about that I also wanna try however I don't know what I should do.

1- Use the already existing domain with DA of 29 / PA 33 (Homepage) therefore making it easier to rank but it's not 100% related to the old subject.

Example:
Website is currently about Hardware.
New Niche is about Gaming.

It's not unrelated but it's not 100% related either.

or

2- Use a exact match domain for this keyword that has 2.9K Monthly searches even though I can find another 10 similar ones and those 10 wouldn't be related because of the exact match domain.

or

3- Use a random non unrelated domain (if keyword was gaming related then gaminggeek etc)

PS: My top competitor for all these keywords has DA 19 and is getting 20k+ monthly UV

Well, i will prefer you something different choose expired domain with high DA and PA (as possible)... choose an EMD according to your keywods and 301 redirect the expired domain to your new EMD domain, which will not only give you visitors but also will pass link juice... which will be good enough for your new domain to compete with your competitors... and for off-page strategy use your new domain not redirect one

Example:
Website is currently about Hardware.
New Niche is about Gaming.

Why not do some blog posts [on your current website] about gaming hardware and then post some links towards your new Gaming website.

And then start developing the Gaming website as a stand alone domain.
