Hey. Igues most of you heard about the new domain extensions being released.
I would love to hear your oppinion about this and what impact do you think this will have on seo.

those new extension will be great
but .com .net . org still will be the king of domains

Great extensions no doubt.

But the good ones are all pre-ordered or will be sold at a premium I suppose

I like them from marketing perspective (now we'll have tons of interesting domains available), I guess in longterm it will affect SEO as well. Only what I don't like is that for example cars have .car, .cars, .auto, .autos domains. I mean, you are forced to take them all .

Who knows, but I've already pre-ordered some and will be adding to them.

My view is that it is a bargain if they work, and not much to lose if they don't.

In my niche I'm finding EMDs ranking high despite them being 'thin' and without many BLs.

I'll be buying industry specific and location.
