    Hi everyone,
I have a dating site and i'm looking for people to send signups to my site. It's a niche site that is for plus size singles, BBWs otherwise knows as Big Beautiful Women and admirers. The site does very well when i send traffic from black planet. If you go to black planet..you will see their biggest groups are for BBWs and admirers. All i do is make profiles with banner ads and send friend requests and people sign up for my dating site. Currently there are approx. 20,000 members.

I am looking for "REAL" signups and would like help from anyone that can do blackplanet friend adding, message sending..craigslist posting. Any other type of getting people to my site..black hat..white hat..anything.

I do have an affiliate program which pays recurring 65% on sales. But i'm willing to make a deal for signups as well..for someone that can send me more men looking for bbws. They advertise on craigslist. And black planet has many guys who love thick women.

My site is http://findmybbw.com. com ..you can email me here or send me an email at jennifer (at) findmybbw .com
I work with anyone..international..no problem. I have paypal I can pay you with. the affiliate program is at http://findmybbw.com/affiliate
    Looking for long term relationships!!!

Ok so I tried to sign up for your site...
Here's my finding; Jeeeeeez you're looking for superman-qualified leads? You basically make them go through the page of telling about themselves in 900 different categories....AND you force them. Food for thought; ever see any other dating sites go so specific?

The setup is generally poor. The submenu with 'my profile', 'privacy settings' etc. is not clear enough. People hate to use a magnifier to find certain functions

No upgrade button - Place one that is visible.

Findmybbw's whois record is displayed. Unless you have used fake info it wouldn't be very smart to have this shown for the public.

Aplus.net is generally expensive, but very reliable. However, there are a ton of other providers who could have your website hosted.

What script did you use? I have a hard time believing 20k actually signed up just by looking at the opt-in process....

Your domain has been active for 3 years..Yet you've only managed to get 20k members & an alexa ranking of 1.3 millions.

I have a hard time believing all users on there are real.

Most important I saw some half-nakey pictures. What if someone upload full nudity with tits, pum pum or dicks? 18 U.S.C. 2257 Record-Keeping Requirements Compliance Notice would kill you straight off.....And you're missing a Terms (T&C & Privacy Policy), which could end up biting you in the ass. Where does it say members are perceived as 18+? If I had a kid who was 11 and made a profile on it I would sue you back to stoneage for everyone you have.

If you're looking to make a quick buck and this site is managed by yourself, adult dating is probably not the niche for you. I have 3 coders for backend and 2 for frontend and another 2 for graphics. Building things from scratch pays off better sometimes (taken us 5-6 months to create everything)

    My 2 cents.

    Well..thanks for the feedback.

I am using the webscribble dating script and i have the site hosted with webscribble.
I didn't think the registration process was long..do you think i should have the option for them to skip the questions about themselves. Wouldn't that mean that they would never fill that info. out then?
When you say the upgrade button..do you mean the button for people to pay for a membership? I currently have a link..but i can make a button instead. No problem.

When you say the submenus aren't clear..what do you suggest.

I've got around 20,000 members..and i've never put in any fake users. I want it to be real people.
Since you are saying that i am doing such a poor job in getting members..how do you suggest i advertise? Can you please give me some advice. I have no problems making the changes you suggested. That's no problem. I just need some help getting this site off the ground. Thanks for your helpful advice. What would you do to get more members? ANyone anyone??? help please.

    Hey Jen

Glad you took my criticism in a positive way. That's the spirit :)

Yes, don't force people to do such a LONG survey about themselves. Will eventually piss them off. If people are serious about finding a partner they will fill out the info they find appropriate to share with the rest of the world. Just inform them how many "percentages" their profile is completed (just like any other big dating sites).

Yes..After you give them the welcome screen and they start searching for partners....I couldn't seem to locate the upgrade link. ALWAYS highlight such feature as you couldn't give a rats bum about them except their CC & $$$ - That's your driving force to creating something more flexible and nicer looking interface.

Submenus of the ones I mentioned...The links are just too small. What you could do is make a menu for such functions. (Drop down are never recommended). I noticed that the topbit doesn't change. Why not replace that with Home, Search, Contacts, Upgrade etc. instead of putting FAQ up there. Noone gives a s*** about the FAQ unless they're looking for how to cancel their CC or how to sue you.

Good job on not having fake users. Fake users can work as an incentive sometimes to drive more people into the game. There are LOADS of different ways to advertise an adult website. A question could be; where did you last see adult friend finder's ads at? :) That's just one way.
You have an affiliate system up with full tracking etc.? I saw you provide that, but I haven't tested it (nor have intentions to), but if you have great landing pages and good content (users) then it may just work.

    Hope this helped.

Ok..well i'm going to have the programmer make the changes you suggested..with the signup form.
My site isn't an adult site though. It's just a regular dating site. I don't know where to advertise. Do you think craigslist ads would work? Anyone else with some advice?

    Ah I see.
I just assumed it was skewed more towards adult dating since I saw half naked pics of fat people :)

CL will work yes..CL will work for everything tbh.
