I am happy I found this place. I started an Amazon affiliate site last month and realized I didnt know jack about SEO!!!

I am an IT guy, mainly systems and networking side, but plenty of web dev experience.

There is a lot of good resources here. I have found White Passionns amazon journey to be helpfull, about half way done reading through it.

I honestly still don't know about SEO either, nor how the process goes but i mean i would rather pay someone do my seo instead seems too much work

SEO = Backlinks & how many places your site has been indexed. If your site is on high PR blogs/sites linking back to your site & add a little bit of real awesome social media will make you king =). But this is just a general overview there is a-lot to learn. ALOT!

Im happy to see im not the only one that finds it confusing. I must admit that the beginner guide that aty1985 posted proved to be very helpful. The best I have come across yet!
