Hi Friends,

I have just started a channel with uploading pranks from Tik tok with the original audio. No edits, no description or tags, just the video has been there since yesterday. YT has not taken it down. Will it be okay I keep uploading such videos?

If it is not from a famous create I do not think it will be taken down.

YouTube treats Tik-Tok videos very badly if they have a watermark. In addition, the music in Tik-Tok videos is usually performed by famous artists, so YouTube often forwards copyrights to such videos. Therefore, it's better to edit the music in the video and remove the watermark.

Hi, the video has no watermark. No music, it's just the sounds that people in the video make. Also the videos are not from famous creators .. the video is still not taken down. No copyright claim so far. Thanks for the idea though
 
If video is unlicensed i dont think it will be taken down.
 
I did the same thing, downloaded a random shorts video from tiktok and immediately uploaded it, so far it's still safe but my channel is not a monetized channel

I have three videos now. All safe
 
To avoid a copyright strike and to put your uploaded video under the umbrella of fair use, you'll want to modify it enough that it creates a very different meaning than its original purpose.

1 - Transform the copyrighted material in your video
2 - Make the content educational
3 - Use Creative Commons licensed material
4 - Ask the content owner for permission

Are the videos short, or do you make compilations of the videos? If they're short, there's nothing wrong with them, you can keep uploading.
 
Ok now my 2 cents If you are not gonna monetize the channel then it's fine i have channels where i regularly upload shorts from each and every network available from Tiktok to Moz etc etc. Till now nothing happened other than getting copyright claims on some of the videos. Views are increasing, Subs are increasing and even some of the channels crossed 1 Million subs. So no issues if you have your on way to earn money from you tube other than Ad sense.
 
You cannot make money with such a channel. Even if you grow the channel and gain some subscribers, someone will report it later.
