New channel vs Old channel

I am planning to start a new YouTube channel in my local language. I have a couple of old YouTube channels created 10 years ago but there was no activity on those in the last 10 years from my side.

1- Should I use the old 10-year channel or create a new one?
2- What are the benefits and drawbacks of using OLD channels?
3- What are the benefits and drawbacks of using NEW channels?

better start a new channel, forget told one.
YouTube is doing how Tiktok promotes new channels.

There is no activity in the channel. I created them long ago but forgot them :) Is it still worth to use them instead of creating a new channel?
 
I'm currently experimenting with an old channel that has been around for 9 years. I've recently uploaded 5 videos with static visuals. In the last 10 days, the channel has received 26.6k total impressions, and 3 videos have got 966 views from 748 unique viewers organically. It seems that older channels with no spam activity get prioritized over new channels.
 
either or have their adentages, new channels have more discoverability and they are pushed a little bit because they are new, old channels have more credibility and are well stablished and are les likely to get restricted in certain things but they don't get pushed to much by the algo, either or have their adventages but I would prefer a new account, this is personally but I had 1 good and 1 bad experience with the bad experience had a hard time because had problems to get views and subscribers took some time to start moving from 0 to 1%
 
Startup with the new channels and try to undrrstand the alhorithms of youtube.
Best engagement time for postings..
Maintain single content dont mixit, muggle everything...
Try to bring the intention of the audience to your channel ,
Use tags etc

How would I know the best engagement time ? And, what do you mean by "Maintain single content dont mixit, muggle everything"?

I mean to say you is figure out the best active time at which most your targetted viewers are active, such that it will go forward easily,

Also i wanna say dont post multiple kind of things on your channel like posting sports as well as travelling... this wouldn't help you get more reach

using your old channel would depend on its niche vs new niche
 
Older channels might have some SEO benefits due to their age, but a long period of inactivity might negatively impact channel recommendations.
