Greetings everyone, I have been watching this forum for a while and big fan of the content and the energy around here. Need some advice and guidance. I have a reasonable niche and wanting to start a website/ blog and once I get some traffic run ads and possibly affiliate marketing. Here is a quick glimpse of the keywords I am looking at: Keyword 1: Avg monthly searches: 74k USA competition: High suggested bid: 1.54 Keyword 2: Avg monthly searches: 12k USA competition: Medium suggested bid: 1.72 Keyword 3: Avg monthly searches: 12k USA competition: Low suggested bid: 2.24 Keyword 4: Avg monthly searches: 8k USA competition: Low suggested bid: 7.07 Keyword 5: Avg monthly searches: 5k USA competition: Medium suggested bid: 1.48 Keyword 6: Avg monthly searches: 5k USA competition: Medium suggested bid: 6.85 Do you think this range is reasonable for a new website to compete against ? Which range would you advise me to focus on? I totally have better content and approach than my competitors on that niche however they have deep linking and stable traffic, can good content and organization beat established long reputation and big traffic within 12 months ? What I have: - Content that beats all of my competition (very important info/news in this niche) - first to have kind of info. - Comfortable to spend up to 3k on marketing and seo - Very good solid knowledge on page optimization and good UX - Guts What I lack: - Personal experience in this market, I managed building and optimizing many multi million dollar sites, all for clients so totally different experience I assume in terms of working with big teams and deep cash v.s. loner dude tryna make his own - Superficial knowledge on SEO and IM in general Any tips, recommendations? Also please feel free to recommend SEO or/and link building service for brand new sites, ideally I would want SEO to be involved very early on. Thanks everyone.
