New Business, Overwhelmed. (SEO, PPC, BH)

Hey BHW,

I never introduced myself prior - I lost my job during the pandemic at the worst time; Lost my job months after buying a new house and a baby on the way. I ended up starting a business that's been able to self-sustain since then (thankfully) and a large part of that mini-success has come from utilizing the resources on this forum - so thank you, it's a great community and I'm glad to be a part of it.

That aside, I'll try and make this quick. My business is an online service-based (appraisals) business in the American and Canadian marketplace. I've been utilizing SEMRush to monitor the performance of my website and even with a year past my website hasn't yet been fully indexed. The main part of my website is indexed but I have localized landing pages ((Service) in Texas, (Service) in Ohio, (Service) in Florida, etc.

I'll list below what I've done so far.

- Optimized Website Performance (GTMetrix @ A 100%/99%, LCP 512ms, TBT 42ms, CLS 0.05), (SEMrush @ 99% Site Audit)
- Requested Indexing on Google Search Console
- Utilizing a Backlink Service (Bad Idea?)
- Utilized Index Service on the Backlink Service Links
- Frequent Social Media Interaction/Posting
- Google Ads PPC ($150/mo Budget - It's low, but unsure if it's set up properly, don't want to pour money unless I know it's set up properly)

I know it's a loaded question but the title reflects the situation I find myself in. I'm unsure what to do next - I find myself getting caught up in different tasks but never fully committing because I'm unsure if it's the right thing to do.

According to SEMRush, my organic traffic is 28 (I'm assuming from my PPC campaign) my position tracking is 0%, I'm not ranking and have 0% visibility in my top keywords, and my website has 0 authority score.

So, I guess what I'm really trying to figure out is..

? - I have 62 localized landing pages (Each State and Province), how can I get these pages indexed, ranked and visible on Google?
? - Does it normally take a long time to start ranking and gaining visibility for keywords?
? - Should I bother with the PPC campaign with the low budget it's set? I believe the average PPC is about $1.12
? - Should I continue utilizing Backlink Services, or is it a waste considering I have no visibility or ranking at all?

Why don't you install a real tracking system like Matomo?

1. If they are on Wordpress, try Rankmath instant indexing, still is not a 100% guaranteed indexing method, it may help a little bit (this software is based in the official Google's indexing API)
2. Depend on the niche a lot and your SEO work. I've had really hard times in some niches and it has been too easy (about 48 hours) in others.
3. Remove the PPC campaign. If you want to improve your visit count, go with popads or a CTR booster, but I don't feel it's 100% necessary if you are not still ranking top 20 for any relevant keyword
4. Depending on the backlink service it could be a waste of money. It's not black or white.

Appreciate the advice! Starting using Rankmath Instant Indexing the other day so just waiting to see if it will make a difference!
