New business - Does it has any future?

Greetings! I would like to ask you if my business will have any future or not. I thought about a design company, but not like the other ones. A company who creates concepts/designs/3D models and plans for futuristic products. We will not make them happened, just create them virtually with a possible logical plan. Is any way to earn from this?

If you have Idea of Business & you do some research about Market & compare things than Only you know Real Answer.

I registered here because I thought you can help me. If I would find anything about this then it would be okay, but in this case I just don't know what to search and I am not an idiot. :)

Sorry to burst your bubble but unless you are also conceiving the ideas, your business is just a design company - and there are tens of thousands of them.

And if the product ideas are yours, then 3D modelling should not be your focus - your focus should be getting the products to market.
 
You come to the wrong place to ask that. Also, you ask a high level question that has many details to it that need to be flushed out and assessed as to viability. Therefore, nobody can give you a definitive answer - which is why you get the response you are getting.

If you were to ask me 10+ years ago if it was possible sell a camera you have an idea about developing, my first reaction would be you are crazy. Today we see a very success company in GoPro.

There are two sites you can check out that can get you started on the research you can do yourself and the types of questions you need to be thinking about. Since I cannot add urls, I will give you two search phrases:

"Iowa State University Business Idea Assessment"
"INC Assess Idea Market Potential"

Obviously, Google is your friend as each of these can give you terms to search deeper. And, there are forums and other resources that are specific to small businesses (e.g. Small Business Administration) where you can get answers to specifics.

It's actually a very good business for the long term and yes, you can monetize it using a marketplace that sells 3d designs, like Shapeways.
 
I do think it's a great idea, an interesting one, you will for sure differ from hundreds of design agencies.
However I would suggest you to run some additional business in the beginning.
 
Anything can work if the execution is carried out creatively.
I would begin by asking myself questions like-
1)how can I do this better then anyone else on the market?
2)what is causing other people to succeed here and how can I emulate it?
3)How can I narrow down where I provide the best services in design, and advertise to that niche?

There are many things you must ponder over before you jump into a mentally demanding venture like this.

Anything has the potential to make money. Do your research and have a goal and plan and you can make it happen.
 
graphic designing is always an industry where the potential is high. High quality services are always high yielding.
Better to have a research and take a feel of the competition where you re going to put yourself in.
